Cause, you know, even pre-EL Luffy kicked Aokiji to the skies, which was more than Marco ever did to the Wadmirals, if you want to count that sort of thing as a feat for Marco. :funky:

Marco's superiority was only in regards of his matchup advantage against Linlin's flame, which is fair and square, but that's only one minor component of Linlin whole combat ability.

Marco overpowered Prometheus with his Phoenix Flames, yes
Just like Zoro cut Prometheus with his Foxfire Style
Just like Killer overpowered Napoleon with his Punishers
And just like Kidd & Law nullified Zeus with the Faraday Cage

None of those examples proved the character superiority over Linlin tho, at that moment in time. All that can be said is that Marco won the Fire vs Fire clash, but arguing that he was winning the fight is a HUGE step forward, specially after we saw what Linlin was actually capable of...

It's just wano bad writing.

Why? To waste time and panels because Oda #37 was running in fumes and Oda #38 was still not ready to work.

You disregarded the point that Kizaru never asked for help while Big Mom did. It would certainly seem like Kizaru didn’t lack confidence in his ability to take down Marco while Big Mom did.

This is reinforced by how easily Ryokugyu took down King, YC1 don’t seem to be a big deal for Admirals while Big Mom didn’t think she could beat one quickly.

I think the point is that Kizaru couldn't injure Marco either. Their very first encounter was Marco straight up tanking one of his attack to then go on to plow through Yasakani no Magatama completely unscatched and overpower Kizaru's guard...

Marco's regeneration takes time to deplete whether you are Kizaru or Big Mom or anyone else for that matter. Unless you have an ability like Perospero's, that wins you the fight by simply incapacitating the opponent with no need to deal actual damage, you will be there fighting Marco for a while. BM stated herself that her goal here was Luffy, she had no interest in that battle.

Checked the panel, he says ‘’it seems like its the end of the road for you Marco the Phoenix’’ right before Onigumo cuffs him, meaning he was aware of it.

The point is Marco only went down to Kizaru after he was cuffed not before, before he was doing just fine.

Again King doesnt have Marcos fruit, why are you comparing them? Honestly bro you are being highly disingenuous right now.

I pointed out that in both cases the way Marco was going to be rid off was through impeding his fruit from working, either through sea stone or through turning him into candy. Thats the fastest way to do it. Otherwise you have to beat on him for god knows how long before he runs out of gaz.

No they both can injure Marco but he just heals through his fruit, thats the issue.

I think it is you who needs to reread as Kizaru had Marco spitting blood before Marco was cuffed


Kizaru made the comment you referenced after he had already wounded Marco. Which Big Mom could not do.
