Bro Sukuna did the same when he took amped up HP.
CT mismatch matters a lot in Jujutsu fights. It was already mentioned in the manga. Sukuna's technique is just slash inside his DE, which Gojo survived by using RCT.
Like, why is it an issue now? Dont you remember Toji vs Gojo fight?
Tbh, the problem is further aggravated by the lack of sorcerers on the level of Gojo. IF GEGE MF HAD DEVELOPED ONLY 1 Sorcerer like Gojo, we would not have half of the problems we have now.
- Sukuna defeats Gojo
- Yuta (a level below Gojo) goes out and takes on Domain Expansion-less Sukuna and defeats him hard diff.
- Rest of the cast fights against Kenjaku and Yuta works as support here and there.

Because Sukuna made a mistake by over-relying on Mahoraga.
He should have switched to his own CT after Mahoraga adapted to UV, or when Gojo could not cast another Domain.

What's stopping Sukuna from using Deer's ability in another Shikigami? But we will be back to a stand still.
