I read the raw chapter that is not even the non oficial and marco Said that he liked oden And didint know the situation in wano was this bad.

I dont see at all a confirmation that marco and the Wbp didint know about oden Death, what i think is that marco know about oden Death , but wano itself he didint know was suffering SOO much in the hands of kaido, that the country was in such terrible shape with Hunger, smiles everywhere, polution,lots of poor people, etc.

Of course he knows kaidou is a bad Guy, but he say that he dont imagined that wano was doing so hard, even with kaidou its Just too much, and makes sense since theres no news to know How wano is doing.

I dont see any 100% that they didint know NOTHING about wano and oden that time. Just that marco never imagined was THIS BAD.

At least the idea of "WB didn't want to wage war since Oden has already died, and time has passed on saving his brother to even risk big casualties for his sons" makes much more sense

Frankly speaking, I don't think oda would come up with such stupid reason regarding WB not knowing about wano situation especially when we know

1)Ace visited wano

2) Underworld illegal trade was going on

3) WB was aware that kaido is in wano



I am kind of inclined to believe that there must be some catch.

If not then I will agree with majority over here regarding this reason making no sense and is kind of bad writing. But till then, I will wait for more clarification.


Also, I think oda has expanded one piece world to such big scale that he is kind of unable to keep track of everything especially of small details. And, we should not nit pick with small detials as it's literally impossible for anyone to keep track of all information in systematic order for such a long time.

But, it seems he is consitently changing plot while writing the story evident from Marco message. Kind of speak of how good oda is as he is able to intervene new ideas into the ongoing story but I hope wano doesn't end up like WCI second part that is after tea party plot.

I totally understand now why Oda never wanted to draw an arc as long as Dressrosa ever again.

The gap in quality writing between arcs like Zou/WCI/Wano etc is crazy.

The man's not made for these hug ass arcs where tons of different characters from different fractions are involved

As I stated, WB realizing that Oden has already died, and a war with Yonko over a dead person while risking his sons life, is MORE believable than this shit!

And even then, WB would have probably tried protecting what's dear to Oden's heart "Wano" but still a bit more logical

The best thing would have been Kaido invading Wano after WB death, and Oden died during the 2 years timeskip

And Oden didn't participate in Marineford war cause Wano is isolated from World news, or received word LATE...

Kaido invading Wano in past 2 years would be much better writing... and Oden is in his 60s

No need for the time travel, just give Toki the fruit, and call it off with that... to inform us that such person existed in void century, and such fruit exist in One Piece universe

It seems like Oda changed his mind about Marco i thought it was just to fool that he said he can't go but i guess Oda really didn't want to have him in Wano at first
