Not even Garp was ever called the strongest marine. That is a pirate only thing for jobless bums competing for who is stronger.

Marines are on a payroll, simply doing their job. They aren't glorified for individual strength. When's the last time you saw a cop be glorified for beating someone up?

Ofc but Luffy didnt have CoC coating too. After that he went equal to Hybrid Kaidou and he got a powerup after too. Idk if he had that powerups since the beginning it would be a coin toss between who would win.

Kaidou is a beast thats for sure holding up against all those people.

He had adcoc and couldn't win
He got awakening and couldn't win in the first of g5
Still struggled to win round 2 with g5

The Kuma shit is set-up for what's going in Egghead (ancient robot who tried to climb Marie Joie) not for Sabo/Akainu lol

Akainu vs Dragon is also one of the most set up fights in the story.
