even on the roof top when kaido was about to hit g5 luffy with death thunder bagua he used coa to block(still got damage)

luffy can decide to use any form of haki in g5, no such thing as full g5

The new scaling is crystal clear.
Snakeman Luffy (who seems to have less AP but more speed than Boundman) with Armament but no Advanced Haki (besides maybe FS) >= Kizaru with Armament and his DF activated < G5

Kaido frustrated both of Luffy's forms:

• Luffy used Snakeman because he thought Kaido wouldn't have an answer for his Hydra attack and that he could keep Kaido trapped in a barrage of attacks. However, Kaido was there and humiliated him by withstanding all the attacks, using Future Sight casually to dodge them, counterattacking, swallowing him, and then burning him.
• Luffy used Gear 4 because of his OKG finisher, but Kaido was there and ate his finisher, then began blitzing him with speed in Gear 4.

Kaido is an absurd monster, and he's Oda's favorite in one-on-one battles.
Unlike Kizaru, Kaido indeed proved that the forms wouldn't amount to much because he consumed everything they had to offer, including Luffy's strongest attack before G5...

@Erkan12 Disappointed with Kizaru's performance here, and even more disappointed with Akainu, who had to confront a man who was seen in the last panel with his parts exposed, destroyed, and without any hint of rationality, a programmed bot. And even after losing a leg and part of his face, Akainu was still so useless to the point of letting a cripple escape. LOL

Kizaru looks more impressive than Akainu at this point.
