The investigation? Jesus christ this is an online video game forum. This shit is getting out of hand. Im not okay with cheating but I dont think Cake was doing anything intentionally.

I made a joke in an earlier day phase that if she didn't shoot her gun in 10 minutes, she would turn in a GumGum Man. Clearly that is a One Piece joke, and not me telling her to shoot anyone

My question, and really this is closer to what I believe you should have done, is that you did explain the role earlier in the game. After that point, no further explanation was forthcoming. I believe that if you were not convinced that she understood the role, you ought to have explained it in other terms, or made sure that the current explanation suffices, rather than leaving it for a week and then picking it back up in LyLo. I accept your claim that your intent came from the thread and not anywhere else, but as a host, if you're going to ask players about their role understanding proactively, then you ought to be fully convinced that they do understand it, before leaving the conversation be and then coming back to it.

My sticking point here is about 6 days passed between your first discussion on the role, and then the later clarification that appears to have led her to shooting a Mafia member. So I just need to understand why it was left a week to check back in if you were not otherwise content as to her understanding of the role, and why you didn't refer back to your previous conversation. This isn't a right or wrong question, I need to know what your thought process was.
