Luffy didn't really need gear 5 for this, he only did it as a response to being knocked through Vegapunk's barrier which did most of the damage. Now that he's in gear 5 Kizaru doesn't really have much hope, Saturn will need to intervene which is likely.

I think 90% Kizaru is going to suffer next chapter because it is how shonens work. The last chapter was Kizaru's hype, now Luffy used G5 and will be his hype. I mean, this was Kaido after G5:

Luffy isn’t losing or be saved


this fight has two options

Either Luffy wins and the crew escapes or it’s a tie and the crew still escapes.

Considering how the other two Yonko showed up and showed out, Luffy and Mihawk (who's the de facto leader of CG with Buggy being a figurehead) have to match their feats or even outdo them if possible, and they can do this by defeating Admirals.
But even if Kizaru manages to escape and retreat, it would make no sense for Luffy to have to get saved or lose here, especially right after becoming a Yonko and telling Issho that he's done running from Admirals.
