I would say we have enough reasons to believe Sanji could go after Lucci. Nobody truly expected Zoro to fight Lucci tbh
Im not even saying thats what i want, but i really can't tell what the heck Sanji is doing if he didn't help Bonney, left Nami alone and wasn't anywhere to be seen on chapter 1092. Unless the Blackbeard Pirates did something to him... Otherwise i think it's lazy writing by Oda.
Small question: outside of gags (like love punch and things like that), is there any pages where Luffy got actually hurt by bludgeoning damage (using DnD terms here) like punchs or kicks, even with haki? The only times I remember the weapons had spikes and similar (like Kaido's club)?
They have been either way Compared throughout the series, Majority of top tiers are simply Swordsman with Haki... unless you wanna believe Luffy has already surpassed everyone and sitting on the top of food chain right now. 😮💨😮💨
Luffy needed G5 for Lucci and had to be carried out of the fight while Lucci was completely fine.
They're more worried about Lucci hyping Zoro than they are about anything else.

Realistically speaking, Luffy didnt need g5 against Lucci. It was just a flex IMO. Dude enjoys fighting in g5 so he does it every chance he gets. Lucci is just not him, Zoro is gonna pack him in a chapter or two.

I remember he changed his mochi into spiked clubs and similar things. That's why I asked.
But thanks. If he used normal punches (even with Haki) instead of spiked hits it would fit.
