Character Discussion Does Mihawk or Perona cares about one another?? Srs question

#1
You see , after she left Mohawk to find Moria on Blackbeard's island. She is probably bound to be chased or prisoned worse is death ofc ( if oda hands gets funny). If Mihawk was to hear about her getting trapped somehow? Would he even come to her ? Realistically him saying does he even care? Would he even go through the gist for this ghost girl he doesn't seem to like at all.

He'd go cut off the arms of BB, Shiryu, ID prisoners and kuzans mom

Ha cares about her enough to say "take care" when she left but attacking a prison or somebody because she is imprisoned or killed seems a bit too much, maybe if she is killed but I don't think Oda will take that road. We will probably never see a Mihawk so "passionate", with feelings, if he is not dying or maybe towards Boa/Ray/the woman who lives with Ray whose name I have forgotten if they are his family.

I would say Perona does care about Mihawk.

Mihawk also cute about her but don't realize or don't express. Until a shocking event of missing her for life will change that on him.

But it is a father and daughter relationship. Nothing else.

Mihawk was an old, lonely man who lived a sad life hunting small time pirates such as don krieg while his generation's peers were kicking it on the grandline against yonkos.

Going through his pathetic excuse of a life, living on an isolated island, surrounded by animais, far away from any civilization, he heard a noise and went there to check it.

Upon arrival, he laid his eyes on THIS:

As he laid his eyes on her, he did his best to contain his joy, keeping a stoic expression despite feeling the highest amount of happiness ever since he drew a fight with YC4 lvl shanks 25 years ago.

Having such a pretty and charismatic girl in his house, he couldn't help, but grow attached to her, not even leaving his castle for 2 years straight.

Unfortunately, due to mihawk's absence, the number of crimes severely spiked since he was the responsible for hunting those small time offenders on grand line's first half.

Life was good and mihawk was the happiest he had been in ages

Until..., perona read a newspaper talking about the survival of her thought to be deceased father figure which made her run away after him, in the hopes of reuniting again.

Mihawk, with a heavy heart and tears flowing down his eyes, unleashed all his rage on don krieg's new fleet and joined cross guild after realizing he was about to serve life on impel down.

Now, we wait until the noble fraud receives the News of his precious perona and go toward her arms to once again experience the thrilling emotion that only a young, pretty woman is capable of igniting inside the heart of an old, frustrated man with a meaningless title and the entire WG after his head.

To the best of your knowledge, both Zoro and Perona have been the only human contact Mihawk has had in his life on a permanent, day-to-day basis since he left whatever parents raised him and began sailing the sea.

He lived utterly alone for god knows how long, sharing the island only with the baboons, and then these two stumbled into his life. He HAS to care about them a good deal otherwise, he would not have tolerated them both around for so long.

I would actually go so far as to say that I would not put it past him to get involved in a confrontation to free her. He wouldn't do anything because she asked him for it, but if she had gotten captured alongside Moria, I could see him sailing up to Teachs territory and telling him to free her.

Like, Moria did that shit with Absalom. Mihawk would absolutely sail up to Blackbeard's base too for Perona too. People think Mihawk is way more heartless than he is ever since Zoro dropped that line with S-Hawk of him being more human. For example, if Blackbeard does indeed kill Shanks and Mihawk learns about it in the paper, he would have a STRONG reaction to that. This mans heart is not made out of stone.

I agree but I do think it would be a bit cringy for mihawk to do those things... as stoic as he is. Since it's Mihawk his entrance would always be epic ship cutting so I wouldn't mind...

I mean rescuing a friend/acquaintance is not what I would call cringy. Its brave to sail up to a Yonkos territory and challenge them. Moria did a brave thing with that and I think most self-respecting Warlords (aka everyone but Doffy and Buggy) would do the same thing if put in Moria's situation.

Especially if he has a cool entrance, like slicing apart the giant skeleton head of Hachinosu or something like that. You can be stoic and still give a fuck about other people. He just can't give a big speech or be overly emotional while doing the rescue, and we are good.

Acceptable , I just don't want it to be like a cliche scenario yk I don't ship them romantically at all so I would love if he sliced half the island for an entrance

Perona is a very bratty girl who would probably tell you to make her a dessert rather than give you sex. Just FYI.

Also she's not real and any imaginings you have about her outside of what she does in the story are ridiculous.

You left out the part where he went out to search for vista to distract himself from his sadness and emptiness
