But this does mean something at least here; the guy is sweating, letting out those heavy breaths, and trembling; he's having difficulties, to be honest.

Only a smart person knows that Kizaru looks bad in this chapter, Kizaru fanboys probaly say he is serious, didn't get the cartoon tom and jerrry effect, but forget the fact Luffy was not on a mission to bring him down but to stop him on his intent to kill others, if luffy decided to bring him down he will get wreck, Luffy didn't even repell his attack just like what he did to Kaido's boro breath, he absorb his light laser like it's a 6 am Vitamin D sunlight lol.
You forget after that WB get in his hit he died shortly after there was no battle to avoid with WB.
What Akainu did have battle was whole bunch other people and WB commanders before he get to luffy again .
