Zoro’s comment about Lucci not being strong enough to face Luffy is very similar to what he said to Pica.

I think this gives a good idea of how the fight will go. Once Zoro pulls out KoH, it will be evident that he outclasses Lucci in direct combat.

However Lucci will switch tactics and use Soru, Geppo, and Kami-e to stay out of Zoro’s range and avoid his slashes, while just spamming fodder flying shigan/Rankyaku to just keep Zoro occupied.

Inevitably I see Lucci outright running from Zoro and trying to assassinate Vegapunk. Pica did a similar move in Dressrosa.

In order to win, I see Zoro utilizing an ultimate version of his shishi sonson technique. Perhaps using it as a flying slash and imbuing all his CoA and CoC into it via enma to give it incredible speed.
Ultimately, Zoro’s lion song will triumph over the leopard, taking out Lucci before he can kill Vegapunk.

Did you read my post in the Zoro fanclub? I literally came up with a KoH Shishi Sonson instantaneous beam hours before you made this thread.
Zoro's most used moves are probably Onigiri and Shishi Sonson, attacks that he already used vs the seraphim.
Onigiri already got a KoH upgrade and it was turned into an AOE attack now it's Shishi Sonson's time.

Zoro's most used moves are probably Onigiri and Shishi Sonson, attacks that he already used vs the seraphim.
Onigiri already got a KoH upgrade and it was turned into an AOE attack now it's Shishi Sonson's time.

@Veku, @Ryuarashi, @MarineHQ, @ZenZu as Lucci fans (or at least defenders), what do you think about the fight taking this turn?

It think it might be in character for Lucci. Especially with what he said about S-Hawk running from the fight to hunt the weaker Strawhats.

If Lucci recognises Zoro's superiority in direct combat, he might try to complete the Vegapunk assassination or go after the weaker Strawhats.


@Monkey D Theories another point in your favour is that Zoro stomping opponents below his level was always when they were greatly endangering the weaker Strawhats/their allies or innocent citizens:

• Hyouzou went to attack Robin: Zoro stomped with Rengoku Oni Giri
• Monet injured Tashigi: Zoro put the fear of God in her
• Pica was about to crush the Royal Plateau, killing Usopp, King Riku and countless ordees: Zoro used ISDS and Sanzen Sekai

It would be fitting with that panel if Zoro finally goes for the kill when Lucci tries to attack weaker crewmates or the SH's allies.
