Ok wait question (on the shitpost level of questions) would Sanji hit a Tomboy? (Update: forgot to put this in, but I mean on terms he is in a battle with a Tomboy that he confuses as a man)

I feel like Sanji would somehow just know it’s a woman. Sanji doesn’t just consciously choose to not hurt women, it’s also a subconscious thing. He unknowingly weakens himself enough to not hurt women when he confronts them.

So knowing Sanji, just like how he is able to read and find the intentions of women, he’d somehow just know whoever he was fighting was or was not a woman.

If the said tomboy a truly man at heart, and behaves accordingly, shouldn't Sanji perceive such character as a male?

However, if the said character still thinks of herself as a female, then Sanji would feel that how he felt Tashigi's tear falling.

Tbh I think it won't get that far, so Sanji can totally fight Laffy and get free. If Pudding is on the ship, then free her and get free.

Sanji is where the BB pirate have likely been the entire arc, the control room. This is the perfect moment for the BB pirates to make their move. The seraphim and York are practically defenseless (no I don’t consider Nami Usopp and Brook as defense) so while Lafitte takes them, Devon can use her power to turn the pacifistas on everyone on the island to kill everyone while they make their getaway.
