2) Oda mentioned you need to bypass his scales to injure him. And Luffy trained for that exact reason.
He had a defined weakness, unlike Sukuna's open ended ability.

What I understood from it was, Sukuna could use a one time technique that wasn't RCT, to reincarnate into his OG form. Not Sukuna sacrificing his RCT for reincarnation.

Basically, Gojo only managed to take 10s away from Sukuna...
