Reluctantly I watched the video and it does add valuable context. I understand the anti authoritarian mentality at the time but I think the end of the video sums it up perfectly. "If you find yourself on the side of p*dophilia, its time to pause and reflect". No matter the context though, this should never have been supported. Anyone supporting that shit at the time deserves to be scrutinized and ostracized by history.
I'm not sure what it is but there seems to be a common trend of rich and powerful people being involved with this shit. Its scary to think about how many rats there are in the world who actually think this way. To even try to equate the rights of LGBTQ sexually mature adults to CHILDREN who don't even understand the concept of sex or the ramifications of a relationship is a sick state of mind. Kids who don't even fully understand their own individuality yet... how can you bring yourself to say their rights are being violated when in nearly every case where a child has been sexually assaulted, it leads to them being traumatized. These people don't care about "children's rights", they only care that they don't have the freedom to fulfill their sick fantasies.
This thread needs to be moved back to where it was. Yes, politics can get heated and toxic but unless things get really out of hand (death threats and hate speech), I don't see a reason for the thread to be effectively killed. I understand it can be a headache when things do go south and I mean no disrespect to the moderators but it comes with the territory. Its important for a community to be able to express it's views on topics that matter.

Man you got too much faith in something that is already inherently limited. You should have just conceded in the beginning that it science doesn’t lead to certainty in the ultimate sense.
