egghead is also escape arc..there was no serious fight between Luffy and Kizaru...everyone is ready to jump from island

Be thankful all Sanji did was run and bake a cake. If Oda was foolish enough to give him a fight then lots of panel time would be stolen from Luffy vs Katakuri.

Oda probably made Smoothie a woman to just straight up avoid that as no remaining male BMP in the arc is good enough to not be low diff’d by Sanji

And with Smoothie being a woman he doesn’t have to portray her as strong or relevant on top of that.
