The problem is the Toki Toki no mi has never been shown to see into the future,only traveling towards it.

True, but we didn't see all its capabilities too and if my memory doesn't fail me I think Toki gave Orochi a prophecy about the scabards. What made me think Yamato may have seen some kind of future is that he according to the spoiler he said he's been waiting for Luffy all this time: so how did he know that Luffy would come when everyone in Onigashima thought he was still imprisoned?

Could mean something, might not mean anything. The spoilers also mention he refers to himself by "Boku", so either "he" is a female with the heart of a male, or he's just a male wearing that mask. I assume its like Kiku's mask.

We should be able to tell by design. If he's shirtless/barechested like his father, then using "boku" just simply means he's a male.
