So many excuses lol.
Jogo couldn't touch 15 F Sukuna ONCE, and we're supposed to praise him for that whereas we're supposed to ignore this.
Even then, so many excuses as Maki made Curse Naoya look like a clown in terms of speed whereas we're supposed to assume Jogo (who is literally compared to Naobito in terms of speed by Dagon) is fast enough to fight these guys...
Essentially saying that you both are people who aren't "himself".
In the sense that they were the strongest in their eras but they were never like Sukuna - someone who only lives for his pleasure & displeasure.
Kashimo the dude with no DE, no RCT and a 5 minute technique which kills him.. let's stop comparing him to someone who fought Sukuna for 15 chapters lol.
Let's be honest, if Gojo fought post Gojo Sukuna, he's getting the Kashimo treatment. Kinda unfair to just write him off due to chapter count. Sukuna acknowledged Kashimo as someone atleast worthy of mentioning beside Gojo multiple times, specifically stating both of them would be better off with Yorozu. This holds weight portrayal wise, especially since the matter of Yorozu was about strength. She is insanely strong herself and she would only subject herself to someone massively above her, because that's kinda what draws her in in the first place, to give someone that unapproachable the feeling of love.
All that said though, I doubt Kashimo could get Sukuna to level up the way Gojo had, so even if Gojo gets low diffed in a rematch, that's because of Gojo in the first place, I'll give him that. Roles reversed if Kashimo went first, Gojo would put up a far better fight against Post-Kashimo Sukuna, than Kashimo did against Post-Gojo Sukuna. Or atleast I think so.

Toji’s Dagon battle did not do enough justice for him lmao. I remember SO many fans were convinced Toji would lose to Dagon by virtue of Domain alone and that he was only equal to 3F Sukuna in speed. In truth, give him Playful Cloud or Split Soul Katana and he curbstomps any of the Disaster Curses 1v1, 1v2, 1v3 too.
Maki knew from a single glance at Toji finessing Dagon that he could dodge M3 speeds, that’s actually pretty insane. Gege constantly dickriding Heavenly Restriction fighters is so funny to me.

Well, his entire wincon comes down to "How is my opponent gonna bypass Infinity" tbh.
I don't think Kashimo is weak at all, but clearly comparing him to Gojo isn't correct. Sukuna didn't even say that you & Gojo are comparable in strength - he was talking about their mindsets in a way, saying Yorozu should be preaching to them. I just don't think that alone means that Gojo & Kashimo are comparable.
Kashimo is very strong, i place him as a Special Grade (Yuta/Hakari/Maki tier) even w/o his CT. With CT, he's an even bigger monster.
But he lacks way too much for me to place him anywhere near Gojo who shits on Kashimo in terms of overall Jujutsu mastery. A 5 minute technique which isn't even stronger than Limitless imo, doesn't cut it.

Gege made him a jobber and left him a jobber, it is what it is man. Just live and accept it.
No that just shows Sukuna >>>>> Ryu and Jogo when he’s serious (he said it himself). But Ryu and Jogo would probably be well matched too, though I still favor Ryu more since his Sendai feats are pretty damn good.

You know, since Yuta has around 10 fingers of CE (probably less based on him saying Sukuna has "at least" twice his energy), Jogo having 8 would probably scale him around the Sendai colony big three

But I think Gege kept mentioning the two together to give Kashimo his flowers, to say Kashimo isn't as weak as he is about to seem, Sukuna is unfortunately too strong. Now more than ever. Chapter count is unfair, Gege is just being consistent and this was probably the most realistic sendoff for Kashimo while acknowledging how strong he was. Like this version of Sukuna that fought Kashimo would destroy the version of Sukuna that fought Gojo. He's using his original form and has the space cutting tech.
But anyway like I said the matter with Yorozu is linked to strength, so mindset or not there is a threshold of strength that one needs to pass to even be mentioned there. And this is not only relative to the time period they ruled in, but relative to the gap between Yorozu and the sorcerer in question.
Let's say the threshold is to be 3 times as strong as Yorozu to make her interested.
Get the idea? Don't take those numbers literally but the more you zoom out, the more Kashimo and Gojo can be grouped together. As two absolutely rare individuals who pass that threshold of strength. The more you broaden the list the more Gojo and Kashimo would be grouped together, but on a micro level, doesn't meant they are equals, not even close.
