Lmao thats brilliant editing! I really pray Usopp fans get their extremely much needed glory for Elbaf. I'll never forgive Oda if he doesn't. Especially given how extremely well written Usopp was pre TS, how humanised and endearing he is and how immensely influential Norse culture is for Oda and One Piece and thus Usopps massive love for the giants too and his dad being one of the top fighters of Shanks, a Yonko's crew and Shanks being associated directly with Elbaf as expected too.

No pressure Oda, but you better NOT fuck this up! We Zoro fans are still SUFFERING right now! Wano the biggest mistake ever!
Nicely worded ! I wish well to any fan base, and I know coping when things look bad is a normal thing. I am well aware that Usopp probably will never be in the top 10 in the verse, even by the end of one piece, that's not what I want anyway. Likewise, I just want Usopp to fulfill his dream, become a fearless warrior of the seas, and show us a fun and creative way to fight against Van Auger and others. His specific type of observation, haki, was a good start. I hope Oda builds up on that. We already had a nice teaser in Film Red with usopp and Yasopp showcasing dimensional haki communication.

:steef:

Now that needs to become canon.

When King got defeated
Not a single soul gave a shit.
Honestly, this really fucking bothered me, I expected Kaido to snap and mourn for him, especially given how close they were in their flashbacks and him being Kaido's right hand. King obviously really respected and admired Kaido and paralleled Zoro's respect and admiration for Luffy much in the same way too.

I would have this be the prerogative to truly take that demonic silhouette appearance and strike Luffy down with that blow that "killed him" too, Kaido unleashing his wrath of losing King on the captain of the person responsible for him losing King, potentially permanently/in death too.
Something like this:

There was that great dynamic of Zoro and King, that was akin to Luffy and Katakuri too even. King even made his ultimate attack a literally huge tribute towards Kaido and then some!

I may have to write Kaido reacting to Kings defeat in the way he should have imo. I'm so frustrated about that lol. He legit seemed to care more for Jack than he did for King lol. Meanwhile I wouldn't have minded if Kaido made a sarcastic comment on Queen being defeated, remarking how foolish/arrogant and unreliable he can be lol or just being kinda sour about it anyway.

It never made sense to me. Kaido have known king for the longest. Spend far more time with him than BM. Yet no reaction on king's defeat.
