Instead we got "Yes-Men" who couldn't tell Oda to not make DR, WCI and Wano longer than it should have been
They let Oda "do whatever he wanna do" and we got 100+ chapters of wano that became a total disaster
Good arcs are usually 30-65 chapters
Now Oda is older with health issues, if he doesn't make good decisions,
We are bound to have the worst final saga in shonen history with many breaks

That won't happen imo, he defeated Kaido overnight and Kizaru is not gonna take more than the whole day if they even get an all out fight at this point.
But then again, how many chapters did Luffy fight Kaido for? It was a lot right? Even though it was all over one night? It was just one night wasn't it right? Wasn't Luffy vs Katakuri around 26 chapters too in total or something like that?
I do dread the possibility of having fights in the endgame be as long as OP arcs were back in the day, but I think Oda may only do that for Luffys fights ofc, nobody else. Oda did say he didnt want fights to last more than 1 or 2 chapters in general, he didnt like or want to draw them.

Chapter 700 was really good. One of the most satisfying finales I saw. I didn't see The Last, a lot of people seemed to hate it but it looked beautiful and nice in a way at least? I wonder how well its aged now too?
Kishi felt like the most consistent writer, he got a lot of hate including from me but I think his story has aged the best out of the Big 3 and Fairy Tail so far for example.
Early Naruto was some of the best writing ever too. I still get chills and memories of absolute horror and tension from the Chuunin Exams especially. Also Orochimaru and Akatsuki much later ofc. Kishi had the best villains imo, between him and Oda for best ones.
