There's not much of a chance of a world War. Israel has enough power and allies to crush the opposition, I think, and the actions of Hamas make them a group that very few countries would ally with.
But I agree that those terrorists are mostly shooting their own foots. I hope they send soon some peace corps to help the civilians.

There's many documentaries you can watch that shows the harsh realities that these people live in. The Israeli government sponsors anyone that is Jewish from other parts of the world to come to Israel and settle in the west bank.

Here I think its because we have a majority of catholics and just the idea of a group attacking Israel and Jerusalem and killing civilians is enough to make them evil. After all only "evil" people would commit violence in the holy land, right?/s
Today, one of my coworkers even said that she didn't knew why those Palestinians just didn't leave since the land is for the Jewish people since the biblic times.

It's most because they don't know history and just assumed that things were the same since the biblical times and don't know or even care about what happen in reality. Ignorance combined with no desire of learning more.
I understand why Hamas did what they did, but I still think it was a stupid move. I still think that the best thing for Palestinians is for most of the terrorists to be killed fast before they give even more excuses for atrocities.

Hamas controls the Gaza strip.It will take a military intervention there to wipe them out,it seems Israel is preparing for that.
The religious argument is BS.Everyone and their mother controlled Jerusalem at some point.Jerusalem should be international territory actually.

Religious Zionism is such a garbage ideology and is honesty a big reason why this conflict has dragged out for so long.
The original Zionists, people like Herzl, never cared about Judaism. They just wanted to create a Jewish homeland, really anywhere, where Jews could be safe and have self determination.
If Israeli just stuck to it’s post independence borders and never did the 6 days war, I honestly feel like the conflict would have ended decades ago.
