Honest question. Israel and Egypt lift off the blockade off gaza and allow them to become a nation. You think Hamas let Israel exist? when it's literally in their code to erase israel?
You must be pretty naive to think so or have 0 knowledge of geopolitics
No but I also don't think Hamas wants a Jewish state next to them either, and I think my solution while naive with a huge strong arm from the western nations it a lot doable than Hamas living happily next to israel

Dude, no one wants hamas to kill all Israelis (at least honest people that want peace)
But maybe Palestinians would be more willing to cooperate with you if you hadn't taken their homes and their families and systematically cleanse them out of existence. It all starts by acknowledging their humanity.
The hamas is the product of the politic of 80 years of repression and colonization. Hamas wasn't there is the beginning, if you want to end Hamas, you must end first the colonization. This is not negotiable. Colonization is against human's right. As long as you will put people under pressure, they will radicalize.
Dude, you don't even want to give them the choice. This is literally punishing millions of people without giving them the choice to decide who and what they'll support. This type of outlook just continues the cycle of violence. Dehumanize the other side and they'll surely start doing the same thing to you.
I try not to assume malice on people, but what guys like you and c4n are advocating will likely lead to that. Hamas is clear in their goals, and giving them "wins" will only make them even more popular

Again, this is extremely naive. You think the palestinians will just vote Hamas out of power after Hamas has proven to get results with their tactics? this is politics 101
You don't let the hamas "win" by ending colonization you are just REaffirming human RIGHTS.
But what is sure is that by pushing out palestinians from their home. You will just legitimize colonization, which is basically being a horrible human being :) and you are not one.. right ? ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
Israel is now a country as much as Palestine is one. There can be peace only by allowing these two country to coexist.
If one attack the other after the repartition ... then this will be an obvious problematic that we will have to deal with.

With all due respect, don't talk to me about malice. All i've done is propose peaceful solutions while you say "well too bad, we can't give them rights cause then they might support hamas"
I've condemned hamas and their actions against innocent civilians. But you're too quick to condemn millions of people if it means defeating hamas. All I advocate for is the ending of apartheid and a peace process.

Worth mentioning is the fact that the attacks started because Hamas abused a deal with Palestine and Israel where Israel allowed Palestinians to work in their country (so they could receive more money and start to have better conditions). It was a slow process but was something that could be used to ask for more liberties and freedom later. With international pressure it could lead to something more.
Now this is over. I doubt that any Israeli government will be able to pass bills in the same sense. Coexistence will be a very difficult proposal.
Hamas are the de facto rulers of Gaza and were actually voted in 2006. The Palestinian Authorities have no control over the gaza strip and will likely lose popularity in the West Bank if Hamas achieves political victories due to the terror attacks
I already said I want the west to strong arm them to leave Palestinians alone and allow them to have their own states. Also give them reparations but idk if they would accept after having 1000s of their people killed
[
Israel doesn't have a direct law that calls for the genocide of Palestinians so no I won't jump to say that. They are clearly doing ethnic cleansing in the west bank but I am pretty sure they don't want anything to do with the gaza strip
A lot of people in my community have been really vocal about supporting Israel as of late. And while my heart goes out to the innocent people caught up in this mess.
I don’t think I can support the Israeli government after all it’s been doing. What’s happening now is really just one part of a larger conflict that’s been going on for decades.
And the Israeli government just seems to give zero shits about ending the conflict. They don’t want a two state solution. They want a one state solution where israel exists and Palestine is subjugated or eradicated.
When you constantly engage in violence and aggression, what’s happened this week is the only natural outcome. And unfortunately the burden of this falls on the innocent lives of those who were killed, injured, or taken hostage, as opposed to people like Netanyahu and his supporters in the Knesset.
As much as I love my fellow Jewish bros in israel, the lives of the Palestinians are just as important.
I feel like too many people are picking sides instead of realizing that there’s only one side we should be on. The side of peace and freedom for all people.
