And even then, he got some good feats. No diff'd Jura + 3 GOI in base. Physically clashed equally with Gildarts and fought him for a while while massively nerfed as a historia, while Gildarts implied he would've been a big challenge at full power, basically getting portrayed relative to him.

In the 100YQ, he has been dominating. No diff'd ISM Gajeel, who scales to LFD Natsu, portrayed again to Gildarts level. Pretty much mid-diffing Jellal so far, who by portrayal is relative to Laxus.
He already tanked the usual spell the Jellal uses to one shot his opponents, so there is something better coming up at least.



Doesn't the alchemy version perform at same level as original?

I don't think he's nerfed this time, unlike when he was historia.

I think there is a good chance he is even stronger here compared to when he was alive, since I doubt Gildarts from an year ago would be this strong

Jura initially started the fight even better than Laxus. They then started going even and exchanged MANY attacks (i.e provably not a one shot). Then the rest of the fight happened OFF SCREEN, where eventually Laxus extreme diff'd Jura. And by the time Laxus was done, he was barely even able to walk! It was a classic extreme diff fight

END got stalemated by GRAY. Igneel/Acno level character it seems, I just can't.....Maybe if END got fully demonized he could've reached that level, but we never got to see it. Whatever version that one shotted Dimaria is complete fodder to Igneel/Acno.
Zeref shouldn't even be on the same sentence as Igneel or Acno, they both would one shot Zeref. Zeref himself admits he is utter fodder compared to Acnologia, was afraid that when Acno was done with his empire, he would be Acno's eternal punching bag because he can't die.

Acnologia was serious against God Serena, had shaded out eyes (classic shounen way of showing seriouness), and blitzed him so hard that even AUGUST (strongest Spriggan) didn't even realize God Serena died until Acno reached a 100m behind them. August was completely terrified there and shat his pants, but Acno wasn't serious there apparently


God Serena just no diff'd a stronger version of Gajeel than in Alverez, who scales to current LFD Natsu.
God Serena is mid diffing current Jellal, who is stronger than Alverez Jellal and has portrayal relative to current Laxus.
Just because you say Alverez versions of Natsu or Laxus could've done it, doesn't make it true. Natsu actually can, if he pulls out Dragon Force, not with his lesser mode. Laxus can't.

oh wow big Juvia Stan over here I love her she is a good and fun character well kinda everyone is that’s why I like the anime/manga so much fun and easy going all around but hmm I’d have to think about who’s my favorite

Lucy remains my fav character

I like Wendy better than the two especially when she’s fighting she’s such a little badass the Irene mode was pretty dope to see I wonder if she can channel into that since she essentially “unlocked” it already but now she’s a high level enchanter like her so will be cool to see those moving forward.

GOAT Serena should win logically as things stand, but Mashima gonna bullshit and make Jellal win somehow.

I am at least hoping it makes some logical sense by giving Jellal a powerup.
Serena did mention about sins (getting reshashed for the 100th time in the spinoff lol). So, might as well make things interesting by having the Seigrain persona return and have Jellal go batshit crazy for a change, instead of being a useless wimp he is usually

jellal isnt really one to use PoF tbh hes on the same level and Laxus and hasn't had too strong of an opponent and if he loses then natsu will ocme with the PoF or Erza will come and save him.

I do like the idea of Rogue though, I wonder if he can gain new DS powers taking over one of his elements "eating" wise

Strong yes, but he is lame and a wimp. He used to be great back when he was a villain though.

Yes, that is amongst my main problem with this character. We only see the two sets of spells for the most part - meteor, grand chariot. With some occasional sema or random HBM spells sprinkled in.
The worst part about this is that, he is a character that is an established master of all basic elements, knows dark magic, Mystogan's magic and other random spells like barrier, self destruction, etc.
If Mashima wants, he can give us an actual MAGE BATTLE with him, but nah, it's Grand Chariot for the 100th time. SMH. I am at least glad here that God Serena tanked the Grand Chariot and laughed at it. This means we will at least get to see some other spells from him.

He was the biggest wasted potential of Alverez arc. I remember back in the days, when he had arguably the most amount of fan theories floating around. The hype surrounding him was insane, he was basically the source of hype for the standard Spriggans (who didn't deserve it). All wasted.
If Mashima's intent was to hype up Acnologia, he should've at least had God Serena have a fully fleshed out fight before. We didn't even know his last 4 elements then -_-

I REALLY hope that this "sins" plotline that Serena bought up will actually lead to something, other than Jellal instantly brushing it off like he did against that Aldoron seed.
Else it will just be the same old rehashed bullshit that we saw in the soinoff.

Ideally, my preference is that he gets taken over by his "Seigrain" persona, and we get to see the old badass Jellal at least for a few chapters, without the guild trip and lame wimpy shit we usually get from him.
The "sins" part against the Aldo seed was handled very poorly, where he just put all the blame on Segrain persona instead of accepting it was just basically him. I mean what the fuck was that!! Very uncharacteristic of a dude who otherwise keeps blaming himself and whining. Now, he should accept it, leading to Seigrain at least temporarily taking over.

Back when he was a villain, the entire energy surrounding him was completely different. His persona reflected the archmage that he is. A genius who learns magic in seconds after observing them, was ruthless.
My headcanon is that the reason he stopped using those magic is due to some mental barrier due to guilt or whatever, which won't be there is Seigrain is in control.

If Seigrain takes over and results in a powerup, at least it won't feel like bullshit if Jellal wins. Cause as things are standing, God Serena is thoroughly overwhelming him, like he is clearly and obviously stronger than Jellal. It's a solid mid diff so far

I want to see something new and stronger from him. Maybe a spell related to black hole or star? Would be hype.

Oh yes, I hope you're right with that, it would be great if Hiro would use his Siegrain persona as a power up.
With that "sins" plotline it would make sense because Siegrain was his biggest sin.
So if he somehow turns again to Siegrain it would be a nice twist especially if God Serena knows Siegrain because GS was the one who mentioned Jellals sin.
Now I am more excited to see the next chapter because I hope this will happen in someway.

And I also liked his Siegrain persona more than his Jellal persona, after he was defeated Jellal turned to a boring character, now Hiro has the chance to let Jellal shine again and make his character good again.

Well if he can use it wouldn't it be a more powerful version because GS 4 elements are ds magics, so his Abys Break must be a ds spell too? And ds magics are more powerful than a normal element spell? So Jellals Abys Break would be destroyed if GS would use his own one (if he can use it).

I feel the complete opposite about it man

But everyone got a different cup of tea. FT had some fun moments but ultimately there was too much PIS with Erza and Natsu throughout the story coupled with a terrible final arc and an ending that was straight out of DBZ.

Oh yes, I hope you're right with that, it would be great if Hiro would use his Siegrain persona as a power up.
With that "sins" plotline it would make sense because Siegrain was his biggest sin.
So if he somehow turns again to Siegrain it would be a nice twist especially if God Serena knows Siegrain because GS was the one who mentioned Jellals sin.
Now I am more excited to see the next chapter because I hope this will happen in someway.

And I also liked his Siegrain persona more than his Jellal persona, after he was defeated Jellal turned to a boring character, now Hiro has the chance to let Jellal shine again and make his character good again.

The first time he turned evil, he got a massive powerup as a kid. It should be a personality thing.
He doesn't necessarily need to be evil, but the switch needs to happen so that he can be what he used to be. The character right now is too timid and boring.

Well if he can use it wouldn't it be a more powerful version because GS 4 elements are ds magics, so his Abys Break must be a ds spell too? And ds magics are more powerful than a normal element spell? So Jellals Abys Break would be destroyed if GS would use his own one (if he can use it).

Yeah, I think he can.
Abyss Break is a unison raid of 4 primary elements. Theoretically, any mage with mastery of 4 primary elements should be able to do it.

And yes, the Abyss Break from GS would probably be stronger, since DS elements are typically stronger than standard elements.
Though it may not be always the case. Because golden flames used by Jellal in OS arc was stronger than Natsu's flames. But that could just be because Natsu himself was far weaker than Jellal back in the days

But anyway, at this point I would just be glad to see the spell in actual action after all these years.
Would be hype if I get to see I get to see TWO of them. Who cares if GS's Abyss Break overpowers Jellal's lol, would be leading to a longer fight where GS looks impressive for a bit more, all good for me

A black hole would be sick but isn't his Altairis spell a black hole?

It has some strong gravitational property, but I don't think it was black hole.
Because Natsu/Erza were instantly pulled into it, gravitation from black hole is insane.

Honestly, IDK what that spell is lol.
But IMO it makes no sense for a meteor to be a stronger spell than a black hole, and Sema > Altiaris. Order should be meteor < planet < star < black hole

I just started rewatching a breath of fresh air. It’s supposed to be a fun and easy not too serious anime/manga a little carefree and haram but loving it.

I’m enjoying the manga rn cause it’s been non stop action which is kinda what I’ve been into lately cause of jjk
