- in the manga it is black (I mean, it is objectively black colored). But if the anime doesn't paint it black - like the manga -, you are saying it is not black because it is not like this in the anime;
Ok, so:
If the in the manga there is a character with a perfectly normal "white" sword but the anime paints it black: you would say it is a kokuto then?
Because even in this case the anime would represent it differently from the manga, but as you are saying the anime design and coloring is canon.
I want to know, because if you say no, then you are just shamelessly using that to push your agenda (if the anime does something opposite as the manga and I am against it, it's not canon; if I like it, anime>manga).
If your the answer is yes, then let's agree to totally disagree.
Fujitora, even Nasujuro doesn't have a permanent black blade. Why some of y'all so desperate thinking green bull deserve to have/create a permanent black blade?.
At least black and red are two "dark colors".
I am honestly interested in what type of explanation one can come up with for the anime to draw a black (or dark) thing completely white
I mean, color wise I would have understood if it was a Bokken, but it isn't.
So you guys really think Oda and the anime staff didn't collaborate about the color of GB's blade, considering that these fucking black blades are the most important thing in the lore of the second main character's growth?
And please don't compare the color of a blade to other things like "b-but Kuma's shirt was orange , Law's shirt was yellow but still changed"
Like who cares about these?
They're nowhere as important as the color of a blade given the lore about this aspect of swords.

Why does Fraudbull not having a Black Blade diminish the relevance of the Black Blades? in fact this only hypes the Black Blades even more as only very few in the verse are capable of such feats.

I already linked the manga panel in which the sword is clearly black, or at very least "dark", both in the original and in volume.
I.E: the black/dark blade color was confirmed in the official volume of the manga, by the manga staff and Oda himself.
If the anime did something totally different, and we are about to see, just ask the Toei why it did the opposite of the official manga.
