Controversial Time to talk about a very serious topic regarding bullying

Okay fellas,

it is time for me to speak out as a bully victim.

First of all I don’t want to look whiney at all! I want to open some eyes for those who bully and who get bullied in private.

It is obvious by now that bullying and it’s effects for both victim and perpetrator are way too downplayed it’s disgusting. Especially for victims! Its being looked at like some tiny trivial matter. In reality this is a life destroying procedure. Not only for the victims but also for the ones who bully too! Let me reveal myself as the bully victim first. I was bullied in the past 10 years ago for 6 continuous years and it sucked ass!! Inside I cried so much and was extremely angree and anxious. I tried to understand why this all is happening to me and why they wouldn’t stop harassing me and laughing whenever I took a breath or any stance whatsoever. It made me literally sick and feel dead inside during the bullying. There is a big chance that a bully victim might suicide and I‘m glad I didn’t do that! Even after all these years passing by I still have consequences of serval mental and physical symptoms of being bullied I didn’t realise until now. I feel everyones pain who is suffering by being one of the victims. You probably wanna know what kind of symptoms I have and I will tell you shortly after just stick around and if you did I am proud of you.
My symptoms include: A very strange condition in which I feel exhausted and cannot think straight or concentrate every 3-7 days nonstop for at least 8-10 hours. Drug abuse and its bad effects on my already bad mental health which caused schizophrenia. Sleep disorder such as waking every day up at 3-4 am. Nightmares and repeating dreams of being still in school and awaiting exams even if school is 10 years in the past! Anger issues and anxiety. Suicidal thoughts.
All these symptoms appeared 10 damn years after being bullied. I thought I processed the whole bullying but I clearly haven’t. I am now in a therapy with a good therapist who understands and solves my problems step by step and I am thankful that I am alive and still going. Even the ones who bully are undergoing a very bad time and might experience symptoms identical to mine. Thats why I want to warn these people. You are not only hurting the one you are bullying but also yourself too. Its like a blade with two sharp sides. My message to everyone is the following: if you are a victim seek help! If you are a perpetrator start thinking about your actions and that you might become an indirect murderer and suicidal yourself. If you happen to see a person who is being bullied be there for him and get between the perpetrator and the victim. You are going to be a hero! You are going to save life‘s

I want to thank everyone who have taken their valuable time to read all this and listen to me! I want to thank everyone who is preventing such situations such as bullying.

Best regards,
Burak

I never get bullied or bullying someone in my life so I can't say I understand but it's nice that you seek out a therapist. Spend time with your family and tell them your feelings, they will always help you.

Other users can handle this kind of problem better than me so this is the best I can give you. Just stay strong and I wish the best to you.

As for you trauma . it can be difficult to heal it.
but know that its bio chemical. when bodies even suffers a mental trauma it leaves bio chemical mark.
to heal yourself you must heal your body. eat right , rest , remove toxins and so on.

therpist will be helpful to let out that bio chemcial energy . but only soo much. heal your body
It pretty much is difficult to heal it. I didn’t even realized that I was still being affected by bullying after 10 years passing by. Thats why I decided to create this thread. Its a message for everyone.

I have no tags, but I read your post and I can relate to most of these.

I have also been strongly bullied in school until eighth or ninth grade. And even after that it continued. I can double down on the fact that it leaves a mark. I don't care about the bullies, they can go through hell all the way, karma got them.

I still have social anxieties, trust issues and such, bad dreams and I am hiding within my own bubble. But I also got wiser through this, learned what humans are about. I could much easier take on an observer role and study about what's going wrong or right in our world.

Man, why do all beautiful things have to be so frustrating at the same time...

The only way to stop the bullying is to leave a scar they'll never forget. I was bullied for a short period in high school and got my ass kicked twice. I bit the bully on the arm and got them in a leg lock around the neck. His friends beat my ass pretty good, but I got one really good people elbow to his nose before they went to town. He did not come out clean and the message was sent.... Surprisingly the bully dropped out and the fights & tension just stopped. This happened in junior year.

This has lead to me being more confrontational, but only if I detected a person actively disrespecting me. I can be dense to being disrespected as I am not looking for sign of disrespect so I come across as aloof. I get very aggressive and hostile if I feel I need to be. I will also actively provoke certain people to ensure they remember my dislike of them.

To stop a bully, you must speak the language of pain. Even if you lose, they will remember the pain.

It's the way of men. We quietly assert positions of dominance over others. Then weak-minded or insecure men try to bully others to allow them to feel that position of authority. If you hit a bully back, with bravery and conviction, be it through words and action, they often cannot take it. Think of them like a predator in the animal kingdom. The best way to dissuade a predator is to show you can hurt them. This is because a predator NEEDS to be completely fit or it won't get any food. So prey that can and will hit back is too risky. It's the same for the bully, but instead of the need for nutritional sustenance they're looking for something to feed their ego as they feel incredibly small.

So yes. 100% agree, lad.

This is the first and most often biggest error people make. They assume that this is the reason. Or better to say they try to find a reason and its the first thing they come up with that sounds reasonable to them. Seriously, bullying is not that deep. There is no ulterior motive behind it.
In reality most bullying is simply done out of boredom. A mean spirited way to get a kick/fun. Occams razor.
For kids its a combination of boredom and low blood sugar (not kidding lol). I watch it unfold in front of me several times a week with the kids in my street. Kid gets grumpy due to low blood sugar. If there is nothing else to do (boredom) then they search for an outlet for their frustration. Next thing you know they single out a kid they just played with and pick on them.
For kids you can watch it happening on a very basic level. Its not really different for teens and adults.
Of course there are also the ones with family issues or other problems though they are rather the exception than the rule.

I bullied many kids when I was younger. I think there is nothing "wrong" with bullying because there is no such thing as right or wrong.

The truth about reality is that we're all humans with unequal stats. Some people come up more favorably than others.

I bullied the people who were lower than me, because they were lesser than me. So it was fine to look down upon them and treat them as inferior.
Likewise, the people above me who bullied me, that was also fine.

Yes it hurts to be bullied. It sucks.
But for bullies, they get a temporary relief to their own personal stresses when bullying someone else. So there is a benefit in that scenario for one person.

My point is that its the natural order of things, so it is the "right" thing even if sometimes (or often/always) you end up on the losing end of those human dynamics.

Bullying is not right I guess you were immature back then and I assume you regret your behavior . If not your views certainly needs to be corrected .

It’s important to educate future generation the downside of bullying . I personally think it impact the personality of a child who is growing up .

That’s why I learnt Karate back as kid . important for kids to learn self Defense training to stand up against bullies .
