They’re the second and third strongest members of the Marines (Kizaru will likely be out of the story by the end of Egghead), so it’s only natural that Luffy’s Wings fight the top 2 henchmen while Luffy takes on the leader of the Marines

I remember when you guys insisted that Sanji would fight a mere Tobi Roppo while Zoro fights All-Star King. Sanji's major opponents will have the same rank as Zoro's major opponents and be portrayed as close in strength. If you think Oda would write Sanji fighting som rando VA while Zoro fights an Admiral, than you haven't been reading One Piece.

There is always a clear distinction between Zoro and Sanji's opponents, Zoro's opponents are always stronger and have more authority but that won't work when it comes to admirals since all of them should be relative and all have the same rank and authority so its impossible for Zoro and Sanji to fight the admirals at the same time.

not a bad theory, i on the other hand think Luffy and Akainu will team up to beat the WG, never really saw the reason why Oda would have the marines be defeated

How doesn't it make sense? Issho probably blinded himself because of what he saw pirates do. Issho may not like the WG, but he may consider them a necessary evil for keeping pirates in check (remember that 99% of pirates are evil scumbags)

I'm 99 percent certain the WG kills a lot more people than pirates do at this point

King and Queen were not in the same league but even then King was the vice captain and Kaidou right hand man, none of the admirals will have such distinction, so its impossible for Zoro and Sanji to fight an admirals in the same arc

Nope, Queen was clearly portrayed as a rival to King. King was never called vice captain

you are clearly looking at pictures and not reading the story buddy!

• King's feats and portrayal are far above Queen's
• Kaidou after saving King tells him he is his right hand man and the both of them formed the Beast Pirates
• Vivre card says King is the leader of the calamities

I know you would love it if it were not as the manga stated but just accept reality, Zoro and Sanji wont fight the admirals because the Fuji and Aramaki are all on the same level and have the same authority, something that doesnt make sense for Zoro and Sanji's opponent's since there is always a clear distinction that Zoro's opponents are not just stronger but is also ranked higher than Sanji's opponents something that would be impossible to do with the admirals all being the same

To be fair, let's look at the facts leading up to it with the small reservation of my memory failing me in instances as it has been so long.

You see when you line it up like this it's very clear to see that one progressively beats stronger opponents one after the other while the other guy is used to hype up characters left and right before magically winning against a high bounty threat.
