Sky splitting is a bonus.. Garp has show to be able to use CoC and AdCoC..

Maybe Admirals don't have CoC, but Fleet Admiral level Marines do..

But more so I would have found strange for some admiral to split the sky before Garp did.

Yeah, splitting the sky for Yonkos is a casual thing.. And it's not for Admirals.. That's a fact..

I guess it would have been a perfect moment for Garp and Aokiji to split the sky if Aokiji was that guy..

Maybe, but Aokiji himself was conflicted and did not use the Awakening also.

All in all, we'll see. Could also be that Oda is keeping that for a big moment against Luffy or some other thing we can't fathom right now.

Or could be they can't, obviously, but Garp (and Sengoku) surely could, but never did too.

To be honest Big Mom has a fruit that permits enviroment manipulation and she can do that on a large scale. People are fixated with the sky split because it is a aCoC feat and not having aCoC is a limiting factor for top tiers at this point of the story.

There is a big difference between physically destroying the piece of land and permanenty changing very climate itself. Obliterating piece of land wouldn't affect the climate long term.

She can probably do that since her homies are still alive. At worst it depends on how much lifespan she put into them, which may still be a very lenghty period of time. Also maybe Doffy with his awakening to some extent.
Well people say sky splitters because it is a sign of aCoC since most of the users can do it. The only ones that ate currently uncertain are Zoro and Yamato.

Only Admirals that have conqueror's haki are Akainu and whichever one Zoro fights.
