We have gap of 24 years during which Dragon took command of Sorbet kingdom and kuma and Ginny joined them ... That's a massive time gap.

Zoro was ready to take Luffy's pain (Sanji and the others too)
This selfless act gave Kuma the confirmation that Luffy has great comrades
Zoro's sacrifice as the First Mate has now another layer

The correlation between Kuma literally taking the pain out of a person and Zoro filling in to take on punishment for someone else doesn't really work as one is sacrificial by nature, and the other isn't thanks to special abilities.

Lots imo. His dad is Garp, and clearly theres tension there. Plus he and Akainu are the same age so it just feels like they absolutely have history (which imo will drive Luffy and him fighting specifically in the end, not that Dragon and Akainu cant clash)

I really think Akainu will turn into a good guy in the end and now knowing that Dragon was a marine , I believe that dragon is one of the reasons why Akainu is so cold and believes in Absolute Justice

I created a theory before the flashback start of kuma and luffy mom of them met as slaves in god valley. Because the thoery would explain some interesting plot points. But I actually dont believe that ginny is luffy mom
