- he is more quite & colder to people
- his face & expression is very flat (more towards angry/sad), and it's even colder with sunglasses

Well we never saw current Kuma before he was a cyborg.

But Kuma’s darker nature pre TS could just be written off as him being hardened by years of opposing tyranny and fighting as a pirate, etc.

I don’t think so. But like a lot of people that want to make money with One Piece, he understands that talking about Zoro in a powerscalling context is the best subject to garner the most interaction and then the most money.

Honestly, looking like one of the best chapters in the Egghead arc, even tho there was nothing combat related.

Oda's writing is usually at it's peak during flashbacks, good to see he still delivers there.
