1. Luffy ain't invalid. Drums are kicking in soon to "Free" Bonney.
2. Kizaru couldn't do shit to Luffy but stall. Kizaru also is functionally in a coma and paralysed by his own words, even stating he ain't getting back up anytime soon. But Bonneys very soon dead and his crew has been frozen. And Oda ain't killing Bonney. Which means the drums are kicking in sooner then Kizaru recovers, Luffy will "free" Bonney and fight Saturn. Kizaru will probs get ups later, just in time for Zoro to beat Lucci and get together with the others to deal with Kizaru.
In either case this is blatant foreshadowing that the next fight Luffys is gonna have is against Saturn.

Nah. @GUI-KHAN is correct. Sabo while being Luffy's brother has his own dream to follow.
Non-fanbase biased theory: Oda is setting up Sabo to be one of the key players that contributes to de-throning Imu. And somewhere along the line Vivi becomes his other half. Not very fond of this couple, but this is the impression the story gives me.
I honestly doubt Sabo will join Luffy's crew. I find it terrible if Sabo joined instead of being a powerhouse of his own, like Ace.
Revolutionaries have a different approach from the pirate king although they have a similar end goal in mind.
Ace would have succeeded WhiteBeard after his death by the looks of it, despite Marco being of high caliber. It's what I would expect from Oda's writing.
I hope Oda doesn't kill off Sabo for some random reason.
Either way I expect Sabo to play a major role separate from Luffy / SHP.

Also, Luffy can save Bonney and Kuma in the remaining span of arc, its not like he HAS to symbolically save her while trapped on the floor a this very moment. It makes far more sense for it to be the Robot or Kuma

The Robot can "stop" Saturn to act as a stalling method to let people escape and recover. I never said anything about it being a full blown fight vs. The Gorosei with a victory on its own. I expect Saturn to destroy it eventually.

You can see there is some resemblance between Bonney and Big Mom in her youth. However when Big Meme was in Rocks Ginny herself was just a kid. She could be Bonney's grandma.

Do you know what Luffy did right after losing Gear 5 against Kaido, a much much stronger opponent than Kizaru?
He got Gear 5 back seconds later and he pulled an island-sized attack to defeat Kaido.
