Kuzan isn't a blackbeard pirate. Garp's whole goal in going to hachinosu was to save coby and make Aokiji look more convincing. Blackbeard knows this and is only keeping kuzan around to steal his fruit. Akainu and the gorsei don't know this because they don't run sword. Garp does.

If you really think Kuzan would side with blackbeard after being disgusted by what happened on O'Hara then your a fool. If Kuzan was so desperate for friends he would have hit up Luffy instead.

These guys are actual nutjobs
Oda had all the time in the world to establish even a single moment between Kuzan and Coby whether its dialogue or combat, yet refrained from doing so because the intention was never there. They even had 0 moments in the flashback.

Meanwhile
In his intro: Kuzan mentions to Luffy that he has a message from Smoker
During timeskip: Smoker sipping tea in Kuzan’s office asking for a favor
Post timeskip: Kuzan crosses the NW to meet Smoker and exchange dialogue

Lolby’s theme isn’t about revenge, he will probably cry about Kuzan and Garp on his upcoming tea party with Rebecca
That’s about it when it comes to his plot with Kuzan

Sneak attacks vary in strength in OP and also Koby is clearly being setup to do some great things in endgame.

Smoker has been nothing but cool with kuzan and has no relevance, meanwhile oda is still confirming koby will become an admiral, oda hyping him up in chapter 2 and actually seeing kuzan beat garp

but can you tell me how a 36yo is going to go from no-diff from doffy to facing an admiral?
