The problem with AOT is that the entire last say.... 17 stretch of chapters is oddly paced and ranges from mediocre to bad.

It's a shame isayama fumbled the most important stretch of the story, but endings are always difficult

Naruto was declining for a while... before it absolutely went to shit.

This was worse because 98% of the manga is absolute quality. And in the final 3 chapters, the mangaka sets everything he meticulously built on fire.

it's a lot less boring that the final war because it's so much shorter imo

it depends on how invested you get in it

I think Naruto steadily declined after Pain. AOT is weird because from like.... chapter 50 to 123 it's amazing, then the author just decided to just totally shit the bed, and the final 3 chapters are somehow in their own tiers of awfulness.
