I said it before, Bonney shares the same theme as the Big Mom pirates, and on Thriller Bark, Lola was responsible for Nightmare Luffy.
This can't not happen. Oda will give us a small glimpse of what EoS Luffy is capable of, much like he gave us a glimpse of what early postkip Luffy would be capable of, back on Thriller Bark.

I can run and there's millions who don't even have legs does that make me an expert runner? No it just means I know the basics of running.

Same thing here just because most of them know the basics of how to do something doesn't automatically make them subject matter experts

Kuma becoming a warlord probably has to do with the corrupt king outing him and bonney living there. Kuma taking out the king and having to make a deal with the world government to keep Bonney safe

Bonney becoming an old lady to represent all the other old people. With kuma’s past companions on the island being by her side protecting her while kuma was away
