I still cannot stop laughing at the fact that Luffy and his crew have saved such major kingdoms and thus countries by themselves with some allies, MUCH bigger, more important ones at that and helped way more people than Garp and Dragon have lmao.
Sabo and Luffy are making Dragon look so terrible but Dragon already does that to himself 10 fold at least and its just sad. I expected so much better from Luffys father and grandfather but im just crushed and disappointed. Especially with Dragon now too.
I had a headcanon that Dragon is a ruthless pragmatist, willing to let his allies be sacrificed for the "greater good", his goals, his mission, his agenda being far more important than their lives and thus being martyrs as "true freedom fighters" are but this level of incompetence Oda is giving him, sigh.
The fact Oda offscreened the Baltigo incident and barely showed anything of Baltigo too just makes me so mad too lol.
Aint now way Dragon is gonna be more than a hype tool this late in the game too, but given how many anti feats, how many Ls hes taken, how fraudulent he looks, its not even hype for anyone else if they take him on lol.
The story just keeps getting messier and messier, worser and worser. This is what happens when its "stretched" out far longer than it was meant to be ironically.
But then again we slandered Koby for the longest time and that Blackbeard Kuja island storyline didn't help his case at all ofc, causing the worst slandder for him since Marineford and then Oda took it personally and gave us Kobys amazing moment after Beehive, after making Koby look terrible once again, just for good measure/tradition lmao.
So maybe, just maybe, Oda will let Dragon shine and we're just gonna have to either try and do Oda's job for him to explain why Dragon was unable to take action and do whatever he is capable of doing in the past when it was needed or we're just gonna have to cope and move on as usual lol.
So much permanent damage has been to Dragon though, hes been hyped up for at least 20 something years and hes the father of the MC and Garps son too, its gonna take an absolute miracle to try and salvage his character at this point.
Honestly the first half of this chapter could easily make this one of the worst chapters ever, I'd be fine with killing/taking Ginny out if he didn't do it in such an excessive and forceful way.
This seems like he fucking hated Ginny the way he did it, it's honestly as bad as Kidd's treatment in 1079.
I get that he had to show that the Rev Army had lots of work to do before they could overthrow the government and what not, and also had to give Kuma just one more push before he lost his shit, but this was way too much.
Having her troop get demolished, then captured, then forced to marry a CD and be raped by him for two whole years, and then contract a very rare and serious disease that makes her look hideous, which is then passed onto her rape baby, is way too much.
Honestly, it's arguably worse than what happened to Casca in the Eclipse, as Casca was still alive and didn't look hideous either, though she still went through hell.

That is just a show of the atrocities that the Celestials have subjected fellow human too. No one knows how many more Ginnies and Kumas (apparently similar to the troubles they've had) are there in the OP World. While a matter of taboo, the writer has gone and included it to increase the despise for the Celestials more. The world is desperate for the end to the WG, the people have suffered a lot for 800 years.
