Character Discussion If Bonney joins the crew...

I think her role should be as a cabin girl.

While she was a SN with her own crew, she hasn't really gotten to be kid after her days with Kuma (which parallels with the rest of Strawhats who were forced to grow up at young ages.) Joining Luffy could finally let enjoy the rest of her child years, while being protected, and still getting a role.

Plus, Cabin boys/girls main duty is assisting the ships cook and I just find that thought adorable. Because of her eating habits, she'd be like Luffy, but because of the fact she's both a kid and a girl, Sanji wouldn't be able to get mad at her lol. And if he did slip up and get mad, we all know Nami would totally scold him.

It could work, seeing as Brook is 90, and we have all kinds of ages on the Strawhat Crew, if we have really old, I can totally see Oda give us really young. It would also let Luffy follow Roger more, as he had Shanks and Buggy as cabin boys.

It's better than giving her to the RA to keep safe. Dragon already failed the mother, let's not give him a chance to fail the daughter.

You know what,I like this idea better than Yamato,Vivi or Carrot(hell no) joining the crew.

Cabin boy/girl is a position that would only make sense if Oda put enough focus on the Straw Hats being on the ship, which he only does in between arcs and those moments don’t usually last long.

We don’t see Sanji cook very often anymore to begin with and when he has it’s been on an island (Punk Hazard and Wano for example), so a role like this could be easily forgettable.

I seriously doubt Bonney is joining. Cabin girl is a pretty worthless role, her fruit is shades of weird/broken, Worst Gen members are supposed to be allies/rivals of the SHs and her main comedic gimmick is being a glutton which Luffy already occupies.

Also I really don't want Oda to have more excuses for... "Fan service" after the latest Bonney "revelation".

Lucci is a murderer in canon, and not just a greater good one. A senseless one. We saw what Oda thinks of senseless murderers being good guys with Kidd. I doubt he'll let Lucci be a good guy with that much blood on his hands.

To be fair, I am just being neutral here, she definitely does have a dream. She wants to see sights cause her disease forbade it. She wants to see Sky Island or Fishman Island. She wants to see Nika. And if you wanna count it in:
If Kuma falls, she most definitely will want the fall of the people who hurt him.


Objectively speaking, she has a very strong reason to tag along.
Even if its just to see Nika liberate the world from the WG that destroyed the life of her father or if she did see it, her mother as well.

Besides, I would think Bonney would make the perfect asset if you consider the likes of the Seraphim or how Luffys one weakness when going Nika being how he seems to age drastically which she can actually nullify.
