Weird comparisons, that’s not how Oda writes Zoro and Luffy fights. Luffy defeats the antagonist with pis and help, Zoro defeats the second in command either nerfed or it’s a complete wash.
When side by side they’re comparable, you can ask the same question before the rooftop and we see how they compare.

The only problem we have with the SHs is that maybe they are too many and also Oda neglects them in order to introduce too much characters every arc. Then what matters are the dynamics between the characters, that is what makes the sales go up, nobody cares about powerlevels. And the dynamics work (worked?) well otherwise this manga wouldn't sell so well, we just need to see them more (like in the pre time skip) with less side characters (like in the pre time skip).

Depends if he figures out that water is the weakness he could utilize Blood and get a "W" but I'd say that's circumstantial so let's say he loses.

Kizaru isn't knocked out, he's literally choosing to stay down to rest and recuperate. There is no significant gap, as you can see from the above Luffy has a a lot of PIS and circumstantial moments which makes him win, in a straight 1v1 they're comparable.
