I'm starting to realize it's awfully pointless to be here when you're all behaving like kids.
The fact is there is nothing limiting any single person from using multiple Devil Fruits by having his loyal pets use them. This would give that person a huge advantage during combat. Why nobody has ever done it is beyond me- it's obviously one way to use greater amounts of power than any single person could.
Sure, they're rare, but if I was a World Government authority and I wanted to work on a project to create an effective strategy- having one of our officers be used as a Devil Fruit Object/Weapons Petmaster/Weaponmaster would be one of the options I would explore and I would put resources toward that. Then, I'd make this guy fight Blackbeard because Blackbeard was an amateur with both his fruits before and if we had someone who had several Devil Fruits under his command as Pets/Weapons, he may actually have overpowered Blackbeard by now. The only worry is Blackbeard awakening his fruits and using rem simultaneously because the Petmaster/Weaponmaster still can't do that. But, he can utilize nigh infinite amounts of Devil Fruit abilities via his Pets/Weapons.
Put a Darkness/Quake Man against a man with 20 Pets/Weapons with 20 different Devil Fruits and suddenly we have Blackbeard at a disadvantage.
Yes, you can put 20 Devil Fruits in single people instead of weapons or animals, but weapons or animals add more diverse abilities because they're not humans. For example, an Elephant Man would have a different set of abilities than an Elephant Gun would because they're different fundamentally.
And yes Devil Fruits are rare or expensive, but that doesn't mean it's impossible. If the writer wanted it to happen, it would happen. It's that simple.
Again, it doesn't matter what kind of an idea anybody brings up here. You guys aren't here because you like the story or because you're creative. You're going to try to shoot down any idea you ever see unless it aligns with your personal biases and criticism involved with assassinating some character or member on the forum here to boost your low self esteem.
