Yeah, it was obvious.

Not much in the chapter to discuss, but Chihiro is going on non stop, no breaks.
I guess, there will be no major fight for him in next few chapters and rest of the squad will be fleshed out. We may see interesting sorcery in next few chapters.

Gakurabachi is predictable, but still fun to read. I want the mangaka to focus on world building a bit, enough with mentioning katanas 100 times in a chapter.

I'd say they've done a solid job already.

10 chapters in we know
  • there's a central government focused on combating high level issues
  • At least one unique clan of special magical traits
  • Most of Japan seems to be run by Organized crime on a local level since the government doesn't concern itself with anything too small scale
  • Thousands of sorcerers work as freelancers
I suppose more time could go into explaining exactly how the magic half of the power system works, but right now, I think we have a fairly clear view of how the world is.

I have a small question - in chapter 10, when Kamunabi gets in the way of Genichi Sojo - he use "KOU" - what is he doing? - this is some kind of ice technique, or this is like fog/smoke 3th power of Cloud Gouger ?
