I never get how people had any hope for Dragon. What, did you think Oda showed us the Robot as a nice little Chekhov's gun only to never fire it? The second the flashback became as long as it did any hope of 1100 being a "hype" chapter was gone.

Face it, Dragon ain't doing shit during Egghead. The robot will stall Saturn until Luffy can fight back again. Oda didn't connect Bonnie and Kuma to Nika as much as he did for Luffy to not be able to safe Bonnie on his own. Dragon is never gonna stop Saturn for Luffy!
