It’s not the party. It’s the damn Nika dance. Because oda didn’t properly plan out Nikas lore and influence earlier it feels like there’s just been wayy too much random insertion of it recently. And seeing an admiral who handed the straw hats the biggest L do a dance designed to worship Nika is so out of left field and Lowkey forced.
What I want is for Kizaru to receive characterization that doesn't conveniently prepare him as an ally for Luffy for one arc and one arc only Just because he's up against the MC and needs to support them right here right now. This isn't done to further work on and improve Kizaru's character, it's just the cheap way of this garbage author to yet create another ally at the right time because he's too stupid to write the crew escaping without having the enemies act retarded.
Bringing up Ryokugyu or Fujitora won't help Kizaru here at all. We knew exactly where Ryo and Fuji stood right from the very beginning. Fuji supported Luffy and kept being a good guy after DR, having his own reasons and I never recall him dancing for the drums of whatever.
Kizaru's Unclear justice is clearly just a plot device at this point. Oda doesn't give a fuck about his character. He's just using him as it is convenient and right now turning him into an ally is what he needs....on top of that he does it in the lamest way possible.
If you think this is the way forward for to establish his character great. I guess you at least can enjoy it.
You know there surely weren't other ways to showcase how Kizaru bonds with Vegapunk and Kuma, they just had to dance to Nika's dance especially!!
