I understand what you say, but this brings up a trait of Kizaru's personality based on everything we've seen that is bad, he TODAY didn't care in the slightest about Nika's presence in front of him, and used the pacifists as a weapon , apart from the fact that he continues on the mission to kill Vegapunk. The only time he offered a second way, that is,-> it's not even salvation <-, but he offered a second way, was when he fought Sentomaru.
From what we can conclude is that he is the type of person whose friendship only lasts until the moment it starts to interfere with his professional life, at that moment he doesn't back down from cutting them off, no matter how much he cares a little.
He didn't kill Sentomaru though.

The man who simply follows whatever orders are given.

Gets shit on for it, like people saying he is a government dog, changes sides in a moral conflict and in what he believes to save his friends, is character assasination?

You people mind aswell saying you don't like Kizaru instead of saying dumb shit like this.
All Oda doing is filling in is how Kizaru know these people and spent time with them which we already knew.
Like we knew how he know VP and sento and and now we know how he knew Kuma and Bonny .
It's like people don't want any back story for the admirals but i enjoying the Kuzan and Kizaru stuff so far .

If he does that I agree but if Oda pulls what he did with Garp then it's great. Garp staying loyal to the Navy to this day is the best thing I've seen in his character.
He staying loyal i don't see how you can see these flash back and see what man doing current time and say he switching side.
The same man that said he sorry to his boss for his failure.
Fuck in my mind this make Kizaru look even more hard core than Akainu in a certain way .

People are just hypocrites.

Kuzan, the so called excellence of character complexity, is someone who once had a "Burning Justice" and despite not liking what happened on Ohara, he let it slide and still remained in the Marines.

Lost to Akainu, and couldn't stay under his regime, so what does he do? Joins the opposition he once fought, and does services for them, even to the point of fighting his mentor, but that is not character assassination, going against what he fought before (Even if you think he is a spy, which is not confirmed").

Now Kizaru? He can't have character development because it's assassinating his character, it's not like Aokiji didn't also almost killed Robin right? Or Saul?

Let's see what happens in the heat of the moment when Kuma or Vegapunk are really about to be killed by Saturn.

Just noticed Kizaru will also realise that Akainu hurt Kuma when he sees the Magma, wonder if that adds to anything.

Oda is obviously setting up for Kizaru to betray the WG, which is character assassination
I don't think so, in fact I think that maybe Kizaru can develop his character more and in the new navy, after the final war, he can be someone better for the world and not tied to orders. But I repeat, I don't trust Oda who made that shitty Onigashima arc, in the final war admirals can receive the treatment that Jack received, because that now we have goroseis and Im Sama as the main dish and admirals as accompaniment.

It good that we get some admiral info now cause Oda has so many more character flesh out that you hope they at least get 1 chapter on them .

He try kill VP 3 times and then tell boss man he sorry he could not finish the job.
I don't why these flash back changing people mind on him.
It to show us how he know these people which what he was saying when he start his attack on sento
dude like it or not Kizaru is not good right now he do not want do this so yes he can switch up on Saturn . Stay delusional if you want but him being connected to all those characters that he have to fight is no coincidence.
