- Kuma arrives at Goa Kingdom to meets Dragon at the shores of the island
- Dragon tells Kuma about his son who lives on this island and tells Kuma that his son will need his help in the future
- Kuma asks if Dragon's powers let him see what role his son will play in the future and Dragon tells him Luffy is Joy Boy
- Kuma is shocked and realizes this means he's also Sun God Nika
- We learn Dragon has the Destiny-Destiny fruit and can see everyones destiny and can even control the Winds of Destiny to change them a bit
- We then get some panels of Kuma meeting the Strawhats at Thriller Bark and Shaobody and Kuma guarding the Sunny
- We then see Kuma as a slave at Marijoa and being rescued by the Revs
- The flashback ends with Kuma with Dragon and Ivankov as Kuma get's a command in his head to return to Egghead Island
- The final page of the chapter is Kuma landing on Egghead before Saturn and Bonney, Bonney cries saying father and in Kuma's head he get's another command: Execute Final Mission: Drums of Liberation

Chapter 1,101: Sun God Nika

Brief spoilers thanks to Malik from TalkOP
- Kuma is searching for the boy who ate the gomu gomu fruit on behalf of the WG.
- Kuma meets Garp, who carelessly tells him that Luffy is his grandson
- “that scoundrel of a son of mine secretly married an amazonian and left me with his child… but children are not guilty for their parents’ sins, right?”
- since then, kuma follows luffy’s adventures and sees how he freed Alabasta, attacked the WG, stood against aokiji, and freed Thriller Bark.
- He protects luffy in both thriller bark and sabaody because he’s dragon’s son
- Kuma also discovers the real nature of Gomu Gomu while reading his bible (which is actually an ancient text from Ohara), but it’s too late cause he’s bound to become a cyborg
- Before dying, he writes a letter to Bonney in which he tells her that Nika has freed him and gonna free Bonney too
- End of Flashback
- Luffy punches Saturn

I was gonna make a joke but I remembered my team so I'mma sit this one out lol

- The flashback ends this chapter
- We get some interresting panels back on Egghead
- Kizaru is still down and Luffy is back to his feet looking normal, Kizaru makes a comment that he lost against Luffy
- Lucci is offscreened by Zoro and Zoro is running towards the others at Saturn (at least he is trying to get to them)
- We also see a panel of the ancient robot moving around the lab
- Kuma lands before Saturn and Bonney and blocks the bullets that where heading for Bonney
