Having said all that I said, One Piece's Destiny plot is still nowhere near as bad as the "Hard work beats talent" walkback we got from Kishimoto

The only reason Ninja Demigod even looked untalented was because his stomach demon actively nerfed his chakra control. And it still wasn't enough because he mastered an S Rank jutsu in less than a month as a 13 year old


The only hard workers in the manga got shafted by the Demigod duo and Eye merchants because ig their hard work just couldn't beat the amount of gene- I mean talent the other side had

I suggest you to watch this video. Naruto was a series that always dwelled heavily on fate as a concept. Naruto is one of my favourite manga so I disagree with people who think the fate stuff was handled poorly.
