That's not what he said at all but obviously I was expecting too much when I thought you'd be able to read.

He has to clarify that that scar isn't from Mihawk because the logical conclusion when you see Shanks with a new scar is that it was caused by that guy he had legendary duels with lmfao.

Nowhere in anything Shanks says does it imply or state that Mihawk has scarred him.

Don't be surprised when Oda chooses his golden boy over that guy he made run away from Vista

I don't push Mihawk being Vista level, that's what the manga and databooks push, we literally see them fighting equally in the manga with Mihawk then postponing and Vista is stated to be Mihawk's equal in a databook but of course that goes against your headcanon so you pretend it doesn't exist.

Notice how the emphasis is on "sword skill"? That's Oda giving himself wiggle room in the future to confirm Shanks > Mihawk lmao, this Mihawk vs Shanks debate will end up worse than ZKK for you
