Shin’s Area: The infantry have borrowed armor from the cavalry so they can safely siege the fortress. Shitou (Sword guy) isn’t using any armor because he has confidence he can deflect the arrows as long as they’re only coming from one direction. Other infantry have started using a battering ram to knock down the front gate. Shin’s cavalry reports they’re ready to move into the castle when the doors open.
Youtanwa’s Area: They get reports that the Feego King, Bajio, Shunmen, and Tajifu are all stopped in their tracks. Danto being stopped is no surprise because he’s facing a physically strong opponent, but they’re surprised that Bajio’s unit is being stopped by Shunsuiju. They also note they’re losing a lot of troops on the left due to Kotsu Minhaku’s relentless offense. However, that also means he’s left openings which the Mera tribe is able to punch through. Kotsu Minhaku begins moving his troops to keep the Mera tribe from attacking his flank (and also keep them from circling around behind them lest he hear complaints from Shunsuiju). But Kitara sends orders to the whole tribe to leave the battlefield and make for Hango. Kotsu Minhaku realizes they’re making a move on the castle and orders his soldiers to follow them. Youtanwa also calls up Kokushuuba and asks him to back up the Mera clan in their siege on Hango. Kokushuuba comments to himself that he was distracted by Youtanwa’s looks and only caught half of what she was saying, but at any rate he’ll follow after the Mera clan. Youtanwa also tells old man Enpo that it’s time for him to make his move. Enpo is surprised that it’s already time for him to make a move and asks “Isn’t this early? I thought we’d be moving later.” To which Youtanwa thinks to herself that “It’s not just early, it’s too early…”
Central Army: Sou’Ou is frustrated that the handpicked elites he and Shiryou trained are getting cut apart my Ji Aga’s elites. But then he notices that Ji Aga’s guys are getting killed at an even rate and comments that he hates even fights like this because it results in a high death toll on both sides. He notices that Ji Aga also is personally slaughtering Shiryou’s elite guards when Denrimi’s guys show up. Sou’Ou is shocked Denrimi is there, but Denrimi just comments that he’s there to collect heads starting with Ji Aga. Sanshuu tanks Ji Aga’s hit while Denrimi’s other officers each get hits on Ji Aga. Sou’Ou’s guys comment on Duke Darin and Shin Kakugaku saying they’re “They’re Denrimi’s killing blades!” But Shin Kakugaku retorts saying “Call us the two stalwarts.” Shin Kakugaku states just he and Shiryou are enough to take down the big monkey Ji Aga and tells Duke Darin and Denrimi to rush to Akou’s aid. Denrimi starts to leave when Shibashou shows up and cleaves through Duke Darin and three other guys in one stroke.
