You do realize that Wano is also the same arc where Oda actually killed off some characters.

Yasuie, Orochi, Kanjuro, Ashura Doji, Izo, are all pretty much confirmed to be dead, and there is that possibility that Kaido, Big Mom, and Hawkins are also maybe dead.

This isn't like in the past where Oda is scared to kill off characters, yeah he will sometimes still do fake out deaths but if he truly wants to kill off a character now he will do it.

In this current arc, Oda killed off Mjosgard, Shaka, and Pythagoras.

Maybe Kuma could still survive but the chances of that are very low, look back at this entire flashback as well as the summary for this one.

Kuma is a dead man walking, the chances of him being killed off is very high.

The "confirmed" dead characters is a pretty pathetic list of background characters. Not a guy who gets his own dedicated flashback. Always so weird how OP fans bring up nobodies dying.

Not to mention they aren't all confirmed dead.

Also. You say this in the same arc Saul was confirmed alive.

Since the time skip Oda has been killing people in non flash back way more often .
Death in PH , deaths in WCI and Wano that why compare to before people think Kuma could died way more than normal .
Wano is one of the main reason of that since it had such a body count on good and bad sides.

Yeah, the whole theme of this arc is that it’s impossible to fully erase a beings free will. It was literally spelled out to us

Even in death Kuma is a father and his body will act on instinct and save his daughter

Would have been interesting if we saw S-Bear do the same for Bonney like S-Snake did for luffy but them in bubbles.

Oda can kill characters. But he hasn't really killed anyone anyone cares about outside of a flashback since like..Ace and WB. And before that OP was notorious for not killing people.
