Saturn is Kumas personal enemy but he has had zero effect on luffys journey. Saturn is as much the big bad of this arc as Vergo was of punk hazard. Especially seeing that Vergo was the one calling the shots and was closest to the leader of both Caesar and Vergo in the form of Doflamingo.

But the same can be said for Kaido or Don etc etc but luffy still had to deal with it .
Luffy even call bonney by her real name which better than most characters he help .
Like scabbards get hurt by kaido way more they still get ass kick after doing stuff .
Don hurt law way more still get his ass kick after he fight him .
This already become personal for Luffy since Kuma did so much for them and even had Franky telling SH that and luffy wanted to know why 600 chapter ago lol .
Right now Saturn has big effect on luffy journey since he wants to kill him .
