Oden being the last member of Rogers crew, this generation odens (Sabo) will be the last member of Luffys

I think somebody has to get Kuma's df because of a japanese symbolism Oda basically acknowledged. So either Usopp, Franky etc. eat the df or somebody nee joins and eat it. So there is a chance for a new guy/gal imo. If it is Vivi it is way better. The problem is that even if we get a new crewmate they basically are of no value since Oda doesn't even bother to explore them anymore and of course the more there are the less time each one gets.

Wano, tbh. It’s where Luffy became an Emperor, the rest of the crew all had multiple adventures leading up to it (even the late comer, Jinbei, had been with Luffy for four arcs prior to Wano.)

Luffy‘s Dream, as a chapter, was a pretty definitive moment for me. Anyone coming after that has missed too much.

I reread the series from Zou to the current chapter in the past few months and while I like Bonney, I don’t really think she will end up joining. She’s not a bad suggestion, but if I have to come down on a side it’s no.

The only one who’ll fit in again is Vivi as 5.5, due to the buildup Oda’s done for her and Imu.

I'm still waiting to see what happens with Bonney, but probably this other than that.

I think the last shot for anyone joining was Punk Hazard/Dressrosa

The Straw Hats traipsed around Tottoland and defeated the Beast Pirates in their home base. Any new member will feel a little hollow without having minimum those adventures under their belt.

the crew is even full in the vivre card with vivi as a member with the merry go and sunny go

every arc some people said this x character will join (monet PH rebecca dressrosa etc), it never happened

There’s not going to be any more senior officers but I don’t think there’s a limit to how many strawhats there can be
Like vivi, Yamato, momonosuke, and kinemon are basically strawhats
