It is amusing to see some of the hypocrisy here and some people still jumping the gun.
Some of the same people defending Saturn’s reaction to Kuma’s punch were all too gleeful in trying to slander Kizaru for much less, like just being grabbed from behind by G5 Luffy in the control room. Or claiming that Kizaru’s AP is weak despite Saturn not doing anything significant with any of his attacks.
If Saturn is to fight Luffy, he’d need to show a lot more than the stare that doesn’t do much, or trying to stab people with his spider legs. Wait and see is still the best way to go.

@Durableguy considering how big Aramaki is, I'm pretty sure Momo's half assed Boro Breath vaporizes Saturn completely.

If we go back to pre-timeskip, I can immediatley think of Zoro blocking Kuzan’s ice saber and Jinbei blocking one of Akainu’s punches.
This is kicking it from the side to deflect it. I don’t think it’s an especially good feat for Sanji nor a bad one from Saturn. It’s just physics really. The attack is going in one direction, force is applied, knocks it off target.

I have to say that I like Kizaru's portrayal. At first he just looked like someone who follows orders without questioning them and doesn't have any feeling reagrding the task he has to accomplish, but it's very nice to see how he is conflicted and knows something is wrong. He's still doing his job but I'm looking forward to seeing how he's going to do it. Interesting chapter with a few questions.
I wonder why Oda had Luffy left the battle scene though, where will this plot go?
Are we going to have a brief Sanji vs Kizaru? That would be nice regardless of agenda.

But "big incident" stuff usually pays off. Ace vs BB duel at Banaro island had similar Narration box hype. And that fucking delivered.
