Technically, luffy was the first one to get up, but luffy had already disappeared before he saw Kizarun get up. since luffy went to the food vending machine, he got up first haha

-Luffy punched Lucci through multiple buildings over the course of their fight

-Luffy destroyed huge chunks of Vegapunk’s lab against S Bear

-Luffy’s White Star Gun itself punched Kizaru through a building.

Collateral will always happen, Kizarus lasers against Sentomaru also destroyed the surroundings,etc

And yeah Luffy knows this is Vegapunks island what are you talking about?

The point is hes not going to try to destroy it but collateral will always happen.

That’s what I’m saying Fuji lol. What is Kizaru’s mission? To kill Vegapunk. Not to fight Luffy.

And what is Luffys mission? To keep Kizaru away from Vegapunk and the Straw hats and keep them safe, Kizaru failed his mission in that regard because Luffy immobilized him but Luffy failed overall as well because Saturn and the marines are still there and Kizaru had the time to recover and get up.

So then we must naturally ask ourselves the question:

If this is what Luffy looks like against 10 minutes of distracted Kizaru, what would Luffy look like if Kizaru were actually explicitly ordered to kill him?

It would be a good fight, because then Luffy will not have to run after him for like 80% of the fight and exhaust himself.

And when you ask yourself this, it ain’t looking good for Goofy lol.

Is it? Most of Kizarus attacks did nothing to Luffy. Youre also failing to take into account the opposite, what if Luffy wanted to put down Kizaru at all costs and was bloodlusted? How many named attacks can Kizaru take? You realize Luffy speedblitzed Kizaru with WSG right?

You realize the only thing resembling an intent-to-kill attack that Kizaru used on Luffy was this right?

Basically your point makes no sense, youre only looking at what Kizaru can offer and not Luffy. Youre looking at what Kizaru can do if he is focused on putting Luffy down but not Luffy.

For once Oda has been constant about one thing since Wano began when it comes to his main character; Luffy's COA is just his body being black and and his aCOC is his body being black + black lightning but SOMEHOW Oda decided to break the pattern SPECIFICALLY for this moment and THEN decide to return to how he drew Luffy's COA again the chapter just after all because these tools can't cope
otherwise.

Luckily, powerscaling isn't everything in this manga. So you can still love Kizaru, after all he may be weaker than Luffy but he's still a great character and very powerful nonetheless.
