I assume the RHP and BBP are going to fight fairly soon.

What exactly does Kuzan do during the fight since seems like a bit of an outlier?

The RHP has 9 commanders, the BBP has 9 commanders.... and Kuzan.

Maybe he assists Teach against Shanks? Or maybe he fights Beckman and then Shiryu sneaks Beckman?

Personally, I feel like with the BB Pirates having captured Garp, Sengoku and Tsuru will fight alongside Shanks against the BBP so Kuzan will fight Sengoku then take his fruit and give to BB to power him up to beat shanks.

I can see Kuzan using a flash freeze that won't have much effect on Shanks (so no real Shanks L) but will be enough to distract him and have Teach land a devastating hit. Now I think it'd be better for the story for Teach to win fair and square, but I don't know. Blackbeard Pirates are dirty and Shanks is Shanks.

I was thinking about it the other day and can see Oda doing a number of things:

- Shanks hype: Oda could have him fight both Teach & Kuzan for a while and even have the upper hand in some moments before his inevitable loss.

- It was already mentioned that Kuzan freezing someone is a deadly combo with BB’s fruit. It could be a hostage situation where Kuzan freezes one of Shanks’ men so an attack from BB could shatter them. Shanks would be forced to restrain himself, so he’d frame it as Shanks has to surrender to even be defeated.

Whichever way it by goes, you can bet that it will be intended to make Shanks look good.
